Becoming a Marshal

To ensure the Pram Race runs smoothly and safely it needs a number a Marshals to man the road closures, direct the runners and guide spectators. If you can spare a couple of hours or more on race day, then please make contact by emailing: chiefmarshal@pramrace.com

To ensure that our Marshals are well briefed and understand their responsibilities we have a briefing meeting in the week before the event. The local Police also attend this meeting to answer any questions and to make sure that each Marshal is comfortable with the vital role they play on the day.

We also issue each Marshal with a marsal roster, maps, contact numbers, high visibility vests etc so that they can go directly to their marshal's post on race day.

Furthermore if you do marshall we'll make a donation to the local charity of your choice for your support.
