CONDITIONS OF ENTRY 1/ All entries to be submitted by Monday 24th DECEMBER 2007 to the
Windlesham Pram Race Committee c/o Geoff Mitchell 96, Macdonald Road
Lightwater GU18 5XZ ( 01276 472977) or PAYPAL Entry forms must be completed with the following: Anyone over 18 may need to prove their age by carrying a passport or a Portman Prove-It ID card and must show it if asked by the Publican. Underage drinking is illegal and the Publican is liable. Please remember the good name of the Windlesham Pram Race. 2/ Because we no longer get many true racing entries, this year we
are simplifying the arrangements! All racers are now in the Best Dressed
category. If any team wish to keep up the timed speed racing tradition
they must let the organisers know on the day so that they can be given
a better chance by being released 5 minutes before the rest at the front
of the start line. There is a trophy for the fastest team to keep. 3/ Entrants should meet at BOC asap from 10.00am for booking in, judging,
inspection and approval. For security reasons any agreed "last
minute" entries will not be allowed collection buckets unless their
entry details are proven. 4/ All entrants over 18 are to have a half of draught beer or a measure of spirit in each pub. Entrants under 18 must have a soft drink in each premises. Drinks must be consumed at each premises and NOT EN ROUTE! The race will be considered over at 13.00 and prizes will be awarded asap, hopefully before 13.30. The road closure is in force until 14.00 to allow for the weary! 5/ Prams left in The Dairy yard or along the route must be removed by 19.00 on the day. A charitable penalty of £60 will be charged for disposal after this time! 6/ All entrants must enter into the spirit of the event and AVOID the
following: 7/ Entrants must be prepared to be liable for any personal injury or property damage caused in the event of an accident. No claims can be entertained for anything that may happen to entrants, onlookers, their property or servants in connection with the event. It shall be considered a condition of entry that each entrant shall agree to indemnify the organisers against any legal action arising from such occurrence. Behaviour after the event should be such that it is not prejudicial
to the event in future years. |
